Archiving Policy

The E-Journal of Science and Emerging Technologies (EJSET) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of all published scholarly content. The journal adopts reliable digital archiving practices to guarantee that research remains permanently available to the global academic community.

Digital Preservation

All articles published in EJSET are archived in secure digital repositories and maintained on reliable servers to ensure permanent access. The journal implements systematic backup procedures to protect content against:

  • Technical failures
  • Cybersecurity threats
  • Data corruption or loss
  • Website discontinuation

Multiple copies of published content are stored to ensure redundancy and continuity.

Open Access Continuity

As an open-access journal, EJSET ensures that all archived articles remain freely accessible without embargo or subscription barriers. Published content remains available indefinitely to support long-term academic communication and research dissemination.

Self-Archiving Policy

Authors are encouraged to archive their work in:

  • Institutional repositories
  • Subject-specific repositories
  • Personal or academic websites
  • Recognized scholarly networking platforms

Authors may deposit the Version of Record (final published version) or the accepted manuscript, provided that full citation details and a link to the original publication in EJSET are included.

Print Archiving

Where print editions are produced, archival copies may be retained by the publisher and may be deposited in academic libraries or documentation centers to ensure physical preservation.

Integrity of the Scholarly Record

Once an article is published, it becomes part of the permanent academic record and is not removed or altered.

If post-publication issues arise:

  • Corrections, errata, or updates will be clearly documented
  • Retractions will be issued in accordance with ethical guidelines
  • All changes will remain transparently linked to the original publication

This ensures accountability and preservation of the scholarly record.

Metadata Preservation

EJSET preserves complete bibliographic metadata, including:

  • Article title
  • Author names and affiliations
  • Abstract and keywords
  • Publication date
  • DOI (if assigned)
  • Citation information

Metadata preservation supports indexing, discoverability, and citation tracking.

Policy Review

This Archiving Policy may be reviewed and updated periodically to align with evolving digital preservation standards and international best practices. Updated policies will be published on the journal’s official website.
